Nicole Attard is a medical defense law clerk in our Litigation Department. She supports a specific client by maintaining and organizing a high volume of medical legal files. Nicole receives, reviews, and organizes medical records and documents. She regularly creates and maintains briefs for clients, experts and Firm use. Nicole assists in preparation for and attendances related to examinations for discovery and trial. 

Nicole brings over 20 years’ of legal experience in litigation, the majority of which relates to defence medical negligence experience. She is familiar with the Rules of Civil Procedure and has prepared court documents for all court levels, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Nicole successfully completed the law clerk course through the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario at Humber College in 2001 and received a Certificate of Honours in recognition of achieving honours in all of the courses through the Institute.
