Jennifer is a passionate and skillful advocate who focuses on delivering the best possible results for her clients. With over a decade of litigation experience, she is known for her personable and practical approach to dispute resolution.

Jennifer is counsel in the Litigation Group in Toronto. Her practice includes medical malpractice defence, health law, professional liability and regulatory matters. She has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario and regularly appears before the Health Professions Appeal and Review Board. She has also appeared as counsel for physicians involved in coroner’s inquests.

Jennifer obtained her Honours B.A. (Magna Cum Laude) from York University in 2007. She obtained her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2010. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2012. Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, she practiced for over ten years at a prominent insurance defence boutique in Toronto. Her notable cases include:

Jennifer has served as a Director of the Toronto Lawyers Association since 2018. In 2024, she was appointed to the TLA’s Executive Committee. She has served as Chair of the TLA’s Advocacy Committee since 2021 and is a former Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee.
