Emma Murrin is an associate in our Tax Group in Montreal. Her practice focuses on domestic and cross-border tax planning in the context of mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring and financing. 

Prior to joining McCarthy Tétrault, Emma completed her articling at a leading regional law firm specializing in taxation and estate planning. 

Emma obtained her Bachelor’s in Civil Law (LL.L.) from the University of Ottawa in 2021 with the mention Magna Cum Laude. She completed a Master of Laws with a specialization in taxation at HEC in 2023. 

Emma was called to the bar in 2024.
