Law School

University of Toronto

CeCe recently completed her second year at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. Prior to law school, CeCe obtained her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Queen’s University, graduating on the Dean’s Honour List with Distinction. She researched socio-emotional development and digital emotion regulation and worked at a behavioural science think tank.

During law school, CeCe has worked as a Research Assistant for Professors Douglas Sanderson and Trudo Lemmens, contributing to “Valley of the Birdtail: An Indian Reserve, a White Town, and the Road to Reconciliation” and researching MAID regulations, respectively. CeCe spent the previous semester as a legal extern for the Health Law, Innovation and Policy Lab at Sinai Health’s Lunenfeld-Tanenbaum Research Institute. She has also volunteered as a Global Health and Human Rights Working Group member with the International Human Rights Program, as Senior Editor for the Critical Analysis of Law Journal, and as a LAWS Workshop Facilitator. Last summer, CeCe completed litigation and corporate rotations at a global law firm.

In her spare time, CeCe enjoys spinning, reading, trying new cafes, and spending time with her poodle Timo. She looks forward to spending the first semester of her third year in Sweden and exploring more of Europe.
